LitBuy to Brazil: six lines where the recipient pays the duties, and what we could not verify

Checked and updated .

Short answer: Yes, LitBuy ships to Brazil, but on six lines that all say Duties Payable by Recipient. On 19 October 2026 the cheapest was HF-EUB-BR-1 at $41.45 for 1 kg in 12–25 working days; YF-Correios Brazil-BR-1 cost $47.85 in 8–16 days. LitBuy publishes no tax-free line or duty amount for Brazil, so import taxes come on top of the quotes.

Six LitBuy lines to Brazil, all with duties payable

LitBuy ships to Brazil on six lines, and every one of them says "Duties Payable by Recipient". The estimator was read on 19 October 2026 at the same three weights, logged out and without dimensions. Prices are in dollars, list prices before the new-user promotion. No Brazil line carries a tax-free label, and no EU prepayment applies. Item prices are easiest to track in yuan, with ¥1 ≈ €0.12 as a round conversion.

HF-ETK-BR-1Duties payable by recipient12–25$55.63$72.40$105.93

HF-EUB-BR-1 is the cheapest at $41.45 for 1 kg, in 12–25 working days. YF-Correios Brazil-BR-1 costs $6.40 more and is faster at 8–16 days; its YD sibling is $49.86. HM-EUB-BR-1, HF-EMS-BR and HF-ETK-BR-1 are dearer still. The Correios name points to Brazil's postal service for the last mile; LitBuy does not explain what the EUB, EMS and ETK names cover.

The $41.45 EUB line is the price floor, and the Correios line is the speed pick.

Who pays Brazil's import taxes

You do. Under LitBuy's Shipping Policy, any channel that is not tax free leaves customs charges to the customer, and all six Brazil lines are in that group. LitBuy publishes no amounts for Brazil. Its help-centre threshold table is outdated for other markets, so we do not use it here either.

The Brazilian rules below come from secondary reports, not from LitBuy, and we have not confirmed them. Since 13 May 2026, orders up to US$50 on platforms certified under the Remessa Conforme programme pay 0% federal import tax, while the state tax ICMS still applies. For US$50 to US$3,000, Brazil's Congress voted in September 2026 to cut the rate from 60% to 30%. A shopping agent is not necessarily a certified platform, and we could not confirm whether LitBuy is one. Check the Receita Federal for the current position.

As general knowledge, Brazilian carriers and customs ask for the recipient's CPF, the national taxpayer number. LitBuy does not say how it collects it. The customs page covers the EU and other markets in more detail.

Budget an unquoted tax bill on top of the shipping price, and confirm the rules before you ship.

The same 1 kg parcel on three lines

Because LitBuy shows no duty figure for Brazil, the useful example is the shipping price alone. A parcel weighing 1 kg matches the middle quote exactly.

Shipping only, 1 kg, on three Brazil lines (duties not quoted by LitBuy)

HF-EUB-BR-1, 12–25 working days$41.45

YF-Correios Brazil-BR-1, 8–16 working days$47.85

HF-EMS-BR, 12–25 working days$70.43

Import tax, ICMS and carrier charges on all threenot published by LitBuy

EMS premium over the EUB line$28.98

Per kilo, HF-EUB-BR-1 works out at $50.42 for 500 g, $41.45 for 1 kg and $36.98 per kilo at 2 kg ($73.95). That is our arithmetic on LitBuy's three quotes. The calculator covers Germany, France, the US and the UK; Brazil is quoted here only.

The EMS line costs $28.98 more for 1 kg and still leaves the taxes to you.

Delivery time to Brazil

The estimator states 8–16 working days on the two Correios lines, 10–20 on HM-EUB-BR-1 and 12–25 on the EUB, EMS and ETK lines. LitBuy's Shipping Policy has no Brazil entry; "other" destinations get 10–25 business days after dispatch, after 1–3 business days of processing, and neither range is guaranteed. Customs queues in Brazil are not something LitBuy quantifies. Read the delivery time page for tracking gaps.

LitBuy lists Customs Seizure Protection beside quotes on some routes; we could not verify whether it appears for Brazil lines. Payments: the footer lists card, wallet and Klarna icons, and LitBuy's code references PIX through a processor, but what you see depends on your address, so check at checkout, pay per order and see the payment guide.

Plan on up to six weeks and keep the invoice ready for customs.

Comparing with the European markets

Brazil is the only market here with no tax-free label. For a sense of scale, Polish buyers pay €22.33 for 1 kg on the Poland page with taxes handled, and the US page lists US dollar lines at $37.41. Start from the LitBuy spreadsheet hub to pick rows.

If a tax-free price matters, Brazil is the weakest market on LitBuy's list.

Questions from Brazilian buyers

Does LitBuy ship to Brazil?

Yes, on six lines. On 19 October 2026 the estimator quoted $41.45 for 1 kg on HF-EUB-BR-1 in 12–25 working days, $47.85 on YF-Correios Brazil-BR-1 in 8–16 days, and $70.43 on HF-EMS-BR. Every Brazil line is labelled Duties Payable by Recipient, so import charges are yours on top of these prices.

Is any LitBuy line to Brazil tax free?

No. All six Brazil lines say Duties Payable by Recipient, so the recipient pays, and LitBuy's Shipping Policy says that on non-tax-free channels the customer pays. LitBuy does not publish amounts for Brazil. Secondary reports we could not confirm describe 0% federal tax up to US$50 on certified platforms with ICMS still due; check Receita Federal.

Do I need a CPF to receive a LitBuy parcel in Brazil?

As general knowledge, Brazilian carriers and customs normally ask for the recipient's CPF taxpayer number. LitBuy does not publish how it collects it, and we could not see checkout without an account. Ask support at support@litbuy.com before you ship, since a parcel without the right number may well be delayed.

Which Brazil line is cheapest at 1 kg?

HF-EUB-BR-1 at $41.45 on 19 October 2026, with $25.21 for 500 g and $73.95 for 2 kg, in 12–25 working days. YF-Correios Brazil-BR-1 is $47.85 and faster at 8–16 days. HF-ETK-BR-1 at $72.40 and HF-EMS-BR at $70.43 are the dearest. Import taxes are extra on all six lines, and LitBuy shows no figure for them.

Why is LitBuy's Brazil delivery range wider than Europe's?

The estimator states 8–16 working days on the two Correios lines and 12–25 on the cheapest EUB line. LitBuy's Shipping Policy has no Brazil range, only a general 10–25 business days for other destinations, plus 1–3 days of processing. Add whatever Brazilian customs takes, which LitBuy does not quantify, so plan on up to six weeks.

Can LitBuy's shipping insurance help if Brazilian customs hold my parcel?

LitBuy lists Customs Seizure Protection beside some quotes: 15% of shipping if seized, and full item and shipping value if clearance fails after 90 days with documents. We could not verify it appears for Brazil lines, and premiums are not shown logged out. Ask support before relying on it, and keep your invoice.
