Germany's blind spot: where Sugargoo gets searched
Sugargoo draws about 29,000 monthly searches worldwide in Semrush's September 2026 export that we hold, led by the United States (5,400), Canada and the United Kingdom (4,400 each) and France (3,600). Germany is not among its top markets, which end at 2,900 for Australia and Spain, so its German volume is at most that. LitBuy draws 22,200 in Germany alone.
| Market | Sugargoo | LitBuy |
|---|---|---|
| United States | 5,400 | 8,100 |
| Canada | 4,400 | not a top market |
| United Kingdom | 4,400 | 6,600 |
| France | 3,600 | 12,100 |
| Germany | not a top market | 22,200 |
| Global | 29,000 | 68,600 |
One figure runs against the pattern: the phrase "sugargoo spreadsheet" draws about 1,300 US searches a month, more than twice LitBuy's 590. Americans look for Sugargoo lists even though Germans barely search for the agent. Germany-bound rules, from DHL lines to Zoll notices, are on our Berlin page.
Sugargoo is an English-market agent with almost no German footprint, which also means few German guides.
Sugargoo and LitBuy head to head, with a status check
We reached Sugargoo's homepage and its English page under /index/en/home on 19 October 2026, and our status sweep recorded it as Open and loading normally. Its column below mixes that homepage with terms read on 16 September to 6 October 2026.
| Line | Sugargoo | LitBuy |
|---|---|---|
| Status label, 19 Oct 2026 | Open; loads normally | Open |
| Service fee | Fee page lists item plus shipping; no service fee | Free agent service |
| Packing or operation line | ¥8 packing per parcel | About ¥10 declaration; ¥10.53 to ¥12.65 operation fee |
| Free QC photos | 5 on its homepage (checked 19 Oct); 7 (5 + 2) on its Free Service page | 3 to 6 routine; ¥1 per extra photo |
| Free storage | 100 days (homepage, checked 19 Oct 2026) | 90 days free; extra days to 120 carry overdue fees |
| EU handling | Notice titled "Union Handling Fee" from 1 November 2026; amount not read | €3 a parcel since 24 June and €2 more from 25 October submissions |
| Trustpilot | 3.4 from 641 reviews; newest 16 Sep 2026 | Score hidden; 587 reviews; newest 17 Oct 2026 |
The photo counts conflict on Sugargoo's own site, so ask before you rely on seven. The clock, at 100 days, is its clearest edge over LitBuy's 90. LitBuy's overdue rules are on our warehouse page.
Sugargoo offers a longer clock and more photos on paper, with one conflicting figure to confirm.
Reading a 3.4 beside a hidden score
Sugargoo's Trustpilot page showed 3.4 from 641 reviews, with the newest on 16 September 2026, when we read it. LitBuy's page showed no score but 587 reviews, newest 17 October 2026, split roughly 75% five-star and 16% one-star after Trustpilot removed reviews it judged not genuine. The two numbers do not sit on one scale, so treat the gap as noise until you have read recent reviews.
What you can compare is the age of complaints. Read the latest one-star reviews on each page and note whether the same problem repeats: refunds, delays, packaging, fees. Pay per order on both agents, since a chargeback freezes a LitBuy account until you cancel it. Our LitBuy legitimacy page summarises LitBuy's own complaint themes.
A visible 3.4 is not worse than a hidden score; compare recent complaints, not the headline.
Link swap: an older format, to be tested before you trust it
Earlier research recorded Sugargoo's product link as sugargoo.com/#/home/productDetail?productLink=<encoded marketplace link>. We did not retest it, and the site we loaded on 19 October 2026 serves its pages under /index/en/, so the format may be out of date. Its homepage invites you to paste a product link into a search box, and that route needs no format at all.
- Take the LitBuy link, such as
https://www.litbuy.com/product/1/972753749417, and read the code and ID. - Write out the original address,
https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=972753749417, using the formats on our link converter. - Paste it into Sugargoo's search box and compare price, sizes and seller shipping.
- To go back, run the original through LitBuy's search box or write
litbuy.com/product/1/<id>.
Use the paste-in box for the first row; trust a hash-style link only after one test.
Packing fee and photo count, priced in euros
Sugargoo's ¥8 per parcel is about €0.96 at ¥1 ≈ €0.12. LitBuy's declaration line is about ¥10, or €1.20, and the estimator's operation line of ¥10.53 to ¥12.65 comes to about €1.26 to €1.52. On photos, suppose you want eight shots of one row.
Eight photos on LitBuy, at ¥1 per extra
If LitBuy takes 6 routine photos: 2 extra¥2, about €0.24
If LitBuy takes 3 routine photos: 5 extra¥5, about €0.60
Sugargoo extra-photo pricenot in our notes
Neither line changes the answer much beside the freight, which is where the money sits. LitBuy's 1,000 g line to Germany quoted €24.12 ($27.10) on 19 October 2026, or €26.12 with the €2 EU fee from 25 October. Run Sugargoo's Shipping Fee Estimation for the same weight and compare; its homepage shows route cards, but we do not reproduce them. Our LitBuy shipping cost page has the other weights.
Packing and photo lines are cents; compare the freight total instead.
Who benefits from a Sugargoo account
- It helps if you collect rows slowly and want a 100-day clock.
- It helps if you want a visible Trustpilot score, even a mixed one, beside LitBuy's hidden score.
- It hurts if you need German-language community help; its German demand is not among its top markets.
- Hold off until you have read its EU handling notice, since we read only the title.
Stick to pay per order with both agents, with no money left parked. Our JoyaGoo page covers another English-market agent, and the agent hub lists each agent's label. Prefer to stay with one agent account? A WhatsApp QR code for a delivered-price service sits on our contact page.
Sugargoo is a workable second agent for slow collectors, with mixed reviews to weigh.
Questions buyers ask
Does Sugargoo give 5 or 7 free QC photos?
Its two pages disagree. Sugargoo's homepage, loaded on 19 October 2026, says 5 free QC photos, while an earlier read of its Free Service page counted 7, made of 5 plus 2. LitBuy gives 3 to 6 routine photos and charges ¥1 per extra. Ask Sugargoo support in writing which number applies to your order.
Is the Sugargoo link format with #/home/productDetail still current?
We cannot confirm it. Earlier research recorded sugargoo.com/#/home/productDetail?productLink= followed by the encoded marketplace link, but we did not retest it, and the site we loaded on 19 October 2026 serves pages under /index/en/. Put the original marketplace address into Sugargoo's search box instead, and test one row first, since a stale format simply opens an error page.
What does Sugargoo's EU Union Handling Fee notice say?
We saw only its title, Notice on the EU's Additional Union Handling Fee Starting November 1, 2026, on its homepage on 19 October 2026, and did not read the amount. LitBuy announced €2 per parcel submitted after 25 October 2026, on top of its flat €3. Check Sugargoo's notice before comparing totals, so you add the same charges to each side.
Is Sugargoo's 3.4 Trustpilot score a warning sign?
It is a yellow flag, not a verdict. Sugargoo showed 3.4 from 641 reviews, newest 16 September 2026, when we read it. LitBuy's score was hidden with 587 reviews after Trustpilot removed ones it judged not genuine, so the scales differ. Read the latest one-star reviews on both pages and pay per order whichever you pick.
Why do no German searches show up for Sugargoo?
Semrush data for September 2026 lists Sugargoo's top six markets as the US, Canada, UK, France, Australia and Spain, and Germany is not among them, so its German volume is at most 2,900. LitBuy draws 22,200 in Germany. It means few German sheets and threads mention Sugargoo, not that the agent is unavailable to German addresses.
How much is Sugargoo's ¥8 packing fee in euros, and how does LitBuy compare?
At ¥1 ≈ €0.12, ¥8 per parcel is about €0.96. LitBuy's help puts its declaration at about ¥10, or €1.20, and the estimator's operation line spans ¥10.53 to ¥12.65, roughly €1.26 to €1.52. The difference is a few cents, so compare freight totals for the same weight on both estimators instead, since freight is where the money sits.
