Weidian finds lists decoded: what code 2 does, why dead rows appear and what three rows cost delivered

Checked and updated .

Short answer: Yes, Weidian rows work in LitBuy: put the itemID after litbuy.com/product/2/ and the page opens, if the seller still lists the item. When we tested a Weidian link on 19 October 2026 it loaded but the item was delisted, which is how dead rows look. Three hypothetical rows worth €33.24 cost €73.99 delivered to Germany, because their 1.25 kg pushed the parcel into the 2 kg quote of €38.75.

Weidian-style rows to weigh first

These product photos come from repbuysheet.com, which has 10,000+ products to choose from. Each card adds LitBuy's 19 October 1 kg list price for its cheapest tax-free line to Germany (€24.12) to the item price, so you see a rough landed figure before you open the link. A new selection appears every month.

Code 2: from a Weidian address to a LitBuy row

Weidian is the marketplace behind many finds lists passed around on Reddit and Discord, and LitBuy buys from it directly. In LitBuy's link format Weidian is number 2. Copy the digits after itemID= in the original address and place them after litbuy.com/product/2/. LitBuy also uses a mobile format, m.litbuy.com/pages/goods/details?channelId=weidian&spuNo=<id>, which we saw in an advertising pixel on 19 October 2026; both point at the same item.

The ID is the real identifier and every agent link is a wrapper around it, so a row moves between agents by extracting the number and rebuilding. Our link converter does the rebuild for the four LitBuy codes, and the USFans page covers why its numbering differs.

Keep the itemID; the code in front of it differs from agent to agent.

What a dead Weidian row looks like

Weidian sellers run small shops and remove items without warning, which is why older sheets fill up with dead rows. We tested one on 19 October 2026: litbuy.com/product/2/7583138171 loaded the page frame, but the item showed the Chinese notice 商品已下架, which means the listing was taken off sale. The link format was fine; the item was gone. Compare that with the Taobao test we ran the same day, which showed a price, stock and dates.

  1. Open the LitBuy link rather than trusting the sheet's price column.
  2. Look for three things: a CNY price, a stock figure and an estimated seller dispatch date.
  3. If the frame is empty or shows 商品已下架, mark the row dead and keep the ID for a later search on the seller's shop.
  4. Re-check rows older than a few weeks before you build a parcel around them.

A page frame with no price is a dead row, whatever the sheet says.

Three Weidian rows in one German parcel

Every price below is a made-up example figure and every weight an assumption. Only the freight is real: LitBuy's estimator listed €38.75 ($43.53) against a 2,000 g parcel to Germany (LIT-Economy-DHL-DE, estimator, 19 October 2026), a figure that already contains LitBuy's €3 per-parcel EU prepayment. LitBuy showed quotes only at 500 g, 1,000 g and 2,000 g, so a 1.25 kg parcel is priced between the 1 kg and 2 kg quotes, and we use the 2 kg figure as the ceiling. The €2 handling fee applies to parcels submitted after 25 October 2026.

T-shirt, shorts and hoodie, assumed 1.25 kg in total

T-shirt ¥59 (assumed 0.25 kg) at ¥1 ≈ €0.12€7.08

Shorts ¥89 (assumed 0.3 kg)€10.68

Hoodie ¥129 (assumed 0.7 kg)€15.48

Goods, ¥277€33.24

2 kg quote, list price (ceiling for 1.25 kg)€38.75 ($43.53)

Fee charged on EU parcels from 25 October 2026€2.00

Door-to-door total, before coupons€73.99

Freight and the fee make up €40.75 of the €73.99, more than the goods themselves. LitBuy's new-user banner showed a lower promotional figure on the same line, but we plan on list prices. The shipping cost page explains how quotes and chargeable weight work.

Here the freight and fee outweigh the goods, so the weight band decides the bill.

Does the hoodie earn its place?

Leave the hoodie out and the other two rows weigh an assumed 0.55 kg, which fits the 1 kg quote. That version costs €17.76 in goods, €24.12 in freight and €2 in fees, or €43.88. Putting the hoodie back adds €15.48 of goods and €14.63 of freight, the gap between the two quotes. A €15.48 hoodie therefore costs €30.11 once it forces the second band.

A rehearsal parcel can settle an uncertain weight: LitBuy packs your items for a fixed ¥20 (about €2.40) and reports the packed weight and size before you pay shipping. Details are on the rehearsal parcel page.

Check whether one heavy row is pushing the whole parcel into the next band.

Other German lines for the same 2 kg

The economy line is the cheapest tax-free German option we read, but not the only one. These are the list prices at 2,000 g on 19 October 2026.

The Quickly line is 60 cents dearer than economy and about two days faster at the low end of the range. EMS costs €23.21 more and leaves German VAT and duty to you at delivery. For France, the US and the UK, see the delivery time page and the cheapest-line tables on our other marketplace pages.

Two days of speed cost 60 cents here; EMS costs far more and is not tax free.

Seller risk, returns and the storage clock

A Weidian seller is often an individual, and LitBuy states that it cannot verify authenticity on orders that go through Fill & Buy, a route Weidian links do not need. What LitBuy does check on arrival is quantity, colour, size and visible damage; routine photos run three to six per item, and extra photos cost ¥1 each. Colour differences and fit are outside what it promises to catch.

The storage clock starts when an item is stocked. Ninety days are free, and from day 91 a fee of 0.2% of the price paid per day applies, at least ¥1 per item per day. For a ¥59 shirt the minimum of ¥1 per day, about €0.12, matters more than the percentage. Read the returns page before you buy something you might want to send back.

Inspect on arrival, decide inside five days, and ship before day 90.

Weidian questions from LitBuy buyers

Is the number in a Weidian link the same as the one in the LitBuy link?

Yes. The original address ends in itemID= followed by digits, and LitBuy's link puts those same digits after litbuy.com/product/2/. The code 2 only names the marketplace. Be careful when moving rows to another agent, because numbering differs: USFans, for instance, uses 3 for Weidian in the format we noted, while LitBuy uses 2.

How can I tell a delisted Weidian row before I add it to my cart?

Open the LitBuy link and look for a price and a stock count. On 19 October 2026 our Weidian test link loaded LitBuy's page frame, but the item showed the Chinese notice 商品已下架, meaning the item was removed from sale. A frame with no price or stock is the warning sign; no amount of waiting will bring such a row back.

Why can three cheap Weidian rows cost more to ship than expected?

Weight bands. LitBuy's estimator quoted €24.12 for 1,000 g and €38.75 for 2,000 g to Germany (LIT-Economy-DHL-DE, estimator, 19 October 2026). In our example a hoodie moved an assumed 1.25 kg parcel from the first band to the second, adding €14.63 of freight. Weigh the heaviest row against that step before you keep it.

Does LitBuy charge extra to buy from Weidian?

LitBuy's help centre promises no charges beyond merchandise cost, international shipping and customs, and it names no Weidian surcharge. Fill & Buy is a separate route that may carry extra service fees, but Weidian links do not need it. We could not see a Weidian checkout without an account, so confirm the final amount on LitBuy's order page before paying.

Can I return a Weidian item that arrives in the warehouse wrong?

If the seller offers returns, you can ask within five days (120 hours) of the item being stored. The unconditional version costs seller-to-warehouse freight both ways and a ¥5 service fee. A seller error or quality problem normally costs you nothing, per LitBuy's help centre. Photograph the item and write to support quickly, because the window is short.
