Dead rows, extra storage days and photo limits: OrientDig weighed against LitBuy

Checked and updated .

Short answer: A LitBuy spreadsheet row can be rebuilt at OrientDig, whose homepage on 19 October 2026 advertised "unlimited QC images". Its Weidian link follows orientdig.com/product?id={id}&platform=WEIDIAN. After 90 free days our notes record ¥10 per extra 30 days, against LitBuy's minimum ¥1 a day, so an assumed ¥159 item costs about €1.20 against €3.60 for 30 late days.

These product photos come from repbuysheet.com, which has 10,000+ products to choose from. Each card adds LitBuy's 19 October 1 kg list price for its cheapest tax-free line to Germany (€24.12) to the item price, so you see a rough landed figure before you open the link. A new selection appears every month.

OrientDig's status card for 19 October 2026

OrientDig's homepage opened normally in our scripted browser on 19 October 2026 and no credible closure report surfaced, so it is labelled Open. That says the site works, not that it suits you. The table separates what we saw that day from what we read earlier.

A 4.7 from 961 reviews is a high figure, but we noted no recent-review check, so use it as a starting point.

OrientDig is Open and generous with photos; its rating is high but undated beyond early October.

Unlimited photos, or LitBuy's weigh-in first?

OrientDig's homepage advertises free HD QC pictures and unlimited QC images. LitBuy's help centre says to expect 3 to 6 routine photos, with ¥1 per custom photo and ¥7 for a shoe video. If you inspect rows closely, unlimited pictures remove a small cost: ten extra LitBuy photos are ¥10, about €1.20.

Photos do not answer the question this site cares about, though. Weight sets your German bill, and a picture cannot tell you whether a jacket is 0.9 kg or 1.4 kg. LitBuy's rehearsal parcel answers it for ¥20 (about €2.40), normally inside a day, by packing the box so that measured weight and size are known before shipping is paid. For OrientDig we recorded no equivalent. So the sensible split is photos from OrientDig if you like them, and the weight from whichever agent you ship with.

Free photos save pennies; a measured weight saves euros.

Swapping a LitBuy row for OrientDig, dead links included

LitBuy writes a row as https://www.litbuy.com/product/<code>/<id>; digit 2 means Weidian, which is the only platform we hold an OrientDig value for. Our notes record OrientDig's form as orientdig.com/product?id=<id>&platform=WEIDIAN. We have the Weidian value only, and have not re-tested it since.

  1. Find the item number after the platform code in the LitBuy address.
  2. Check the code is 2; if it is 1 or 0, skip the pattern and paste the marketplace original into OrientDig's search box.
  3. Build orientdig.com/product?id=<id>&platform=WEIDIAN with that number.
  4. Look at the page: price, stock, seller.

One warning from our test. The Weidian item litbuy.com/product/2/7583138171 opened on 19 October 2026 with the page frame but the item delisted, shown in Chinese as 商品已下架. The format was valid; the item was gone. A dead row stays dead in any agent, so rebuilding it elsewhere will not revive it. Our LitBuy links guide explains how to tell a dead row from a broken one, and the link converter rebuilds LitBuy addresses.

Check the code is 2 before using the Weidian pattern, and expect delisted items to stay delisted.

A month overdue: the euro gap on one item

Take an assumed ¥159 item, about €19.08, that you forget for 30 days past day 90. LitBuy's daily fee is 0.2% of the item price, floored at ¥1, and 0.2% of ¥159 is only ¥0.32, so the minimum applies: 30 days is ¥30, about €3.60. OrientDig's recorded ¥10 per further 30 days is about €1.20, a gap of €2.40. We did not record whether OrientDig's ¥10 is per item or per account.

The gap is real but small. The larger risk is disposal: LitBuy disposes of an item once its fees have sat unpaid past 30 days. Our LitBuy warehouse page lists the reminders.

A month late costs €3.60 at LitBuy on this item; set a calendar alert instead.

A British audience, a thin German one, and the parcel maths

Semrush's September 2026 numbers give orientdig about 11,300 searches a month worldwide. The UK leads with 2,900, then Italy and the US at 1,600 each, the Netherlands at 1,300, Spain at 1,000 and Germany at 720. France is not on its top list, which only means it ranks lower. LitBuy drew 22,200 German searches, so OrientDig's German interest is about 3% of that.

Assumed parcel: two ¥79 tees, assumed 0.4 kg together

Goods, ¥158 at ¥1 ≈ €0.12 (about)€18.96

LitBuy's 500 g band, German line, list price€16.81

Handling fee for EU parcels€2.00

Total on the LitBuy side, no coupon€37.77

Hold OrientDig's estimator total for the same weight against that figure. The same discipline applies to payment: write to support before any card or PayPal dispute, because a chargeback freezes a LitBuy account until it is cancelled, and a second agent does not remove that risk. Reviews deserve the same care. Sort OrientDig's Trustpilot page by newest, read the one-star entries for repeated problems, and treat a 4.7 as a prompt to look, not as proof.

Settle each order as you place it; our agents hub and the Basetao page show other second agents, and the LitBuy spreadsheet remains the starting list.

On a light parcel the fixed charges dominate, so compare the all-in total, not the per-kilo rate.

OrientDig questions from people holding a LitBuy sheet

Do unlimited QC images replace LitBuy's rehearsal parcel?

No, they answer different questions. Photos show how an item looks; LitBuy's ¥20 rehearsal, usually done within 24 hours, packs the parcel to reveal real weight and size before you pay shipping. OrientDig's homepage advertised unlimited QC images on 19 October 2026, and we did not check whether it offers a similar pre-pack. Ask support before you rely on photos to estimate cost.

Can I rebuild a LitBuy Weidian link as an OrientDig link?

Yes, using the pattern in our notes: orientdig.com/product?id={id}&platform=WEIDIAN. Copy the digits after /product/2/ in the LitBuy link into id= and open the result. We have not loaded a link built this way. For Taobao or 1688 rows we recorded no platform value, so paste the original marketplace link into OrientDig's search box.

How much does OrientDig's extra storage cost compared with LitBuy's?

Our notes record ¥10 per further 30 days after 90 free days at OrientDig, without saying whether that is per item. LitBuy charges at least ¥1 per item per day from day 91. Held 30 days over, an assumed ¥159 item costs ¥30 at LitBuy, about €3.60, against about €1.20 at OrientDig. Confirm OrientDig's counting before you rely on this.

Why is OrientDig bigger in Britain than in Germany?

Semrush's September 2026 numbers show about 2,900 monthly searches for orientdig in the UK, its top market, and 720 in Germany. France is outside its top markets. The pattern suggests British forums and sheets mention it more. That tells you where guides are written, not whether it is cheaper to deliver to Germany, so compare estimator totals yourself.

What does the 2012 to 2025 line on OrientDig's footer prove?

Only that the footer says "Copyright © 2012-2025 orientdig.com", as we read on 19 October 2026. It does not prove the service has run since 2012, and the year range had not reached 2026. We found no independent record of its founding year, so treat its age as unverified and judge it on recent behaviour.

Is OrientDig faster than LitBuy at handling an order?

Its homepage promised to fulfil an order within 24 hours of payment and to send a parcel within 3 to 5 working days of settling freight. LitBuy's help centre says the agent orders within 24 hours, and its Shipping Policy says parcels are processed within 1 to 3 business days. The promises are close, so judge speed by the first real order.
