CSSBuy beside LitBuy: a fee that reads 6% in one place and 10% in another, costed in euros

Checked and updated .

Short answer: CSSBuy will accept the marketplace item behind a LitBuy spreadsheet row, yet its fee is unclear: its Cost and Fees page said 6% and its FAQ said 10%, with VIP tiers of 8, 7 and 6% (read on 6 October 2026). On an assumed ¥399 basket (about €47.88) that is €2.87 against €4.79. LitBuy states no agent fee. CSSBuy was Open on 19 October 2026.

These product photos come from repbuysheet.com, which has 10,000+ products to choose from. Each card adds LitBuy's 19 October 1 kg list price for its cheapest tax-free line to Germany (€24.12) to the item price, so you see a rough landed figure before you open the link. Six percent or ten: the CSSBuy fee puzzle in euros

CSSBuy's own pages gave two answers when we read them on 6 October 2026. The Cost and Fees page said 6%. The FAQ said 10%, with loyalty levels at 8%, 7% and 6%. A buyer cannot tell from outside which one a new account pays, so the table shows every figure on one assumed basket: two shirts and a cap at ¥399 in total, about €47.88 at ¥1 ≈ €0.12.

CSSBuy percentage on an assumed ¥399 basket, LitBuy's stated fee for comparison
RateWhere it appearsFee in ¥About in euros
6%Cost and Fees page; lowest VIP level¥23.94€2.87
7%FAQ, VIP tier¥27.93€3.35
8%FAQ, VIP tier¥31.92€3.83
10%FAQ, standard rate¥39.90€4.79
LitBuyNo agent fee beyond goods, shipping, customs¥0€0.00

The spread between 6% and 10% is €1.92 on this basket, so on a small haul the question matters less than the parcel price. On a ¥2,000 haul the same spread would be ¥80. The practical rule is simple: price a single cheap row, read the itemised total, and keep a screenshot.

Plan on 10% until checkout shows you a lower rate.

Moving a LitBuy row when CSSBuy has no tested link format

We have a tested LitBuy format and no verified CSSBuy one. Our earlier notes list CSSBuy among the agents where the format was not confirmed, so we do not offer a pattern to copy. The marketplace item number, however, travels anywhere. LitBuy's links end in a marketplace digit and an item number, https://www.litbuy.com/product/<code>/<id>, where 3 means JD and the others count 0, 1, 2 from 1688 through Taobao to Weidian.

  1. Note the digit and the long number closing the LitBuy link; here 1 and 972753749417, a Taobao item we loaded on 19 October 2026.
  2. Rebuild the original. Taobao: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=972753749417. Weidian: https://weidian.com/item.html?itemID=<id>. 1688 uses https://detail.1688.com/offer/<id>.html instead.
  3. Enter the result in CSSBuy's search box, the homepage field that accepts a website address or keywords.
  4. Compare the price with the LitBuy page before you add it to a cart.

The LitBuy link converter covers the LitBuy half. To come back, the same original link goes into LitBuy's search box.

With no tested format, the marketplace original is the only link that always works.

CSSBuy's homepage also listed a notice titled "Free warehousing time update notification", which we did not open. Because it concerns the storage window, read it before you count on 90 days.

The storage windows start equal, but a notice on the page may have moved CSSBuy's.

After day 90: ¥15 a month against LitBuy's daily charge

The charge after free storage is where the two agents differ most. Our notes record CSSBuy at ¥15 per ID per month; we did not record whether an ID is an item or an account, so ask. LitBuy publishes its rule: day 91 onward, a daily charge of 0.2% of the price, never below ¥1, no more than ¥300 per item in a month, and disposal once fees stay unpaid beyond 30 days.

For an assumed ¥159 item held 30 days past day 90, 0.2% is only ¥0.32, so the ¥1 minimum applies: ¥30, about €3.60. A ¥15 monthly charge is about €1.80. Both are small; the real cost of late storage is forgetting. LitBuy sends reminders 7 and 3 days before expiry, as our LitBuy warehouse page explains.

Storage charges are minor in euros; missing the deadline is the expensive mistake.

Brazil first, Germany third: where CSSBuy is searched

Semrush's September 2026 figures show about 128,900 monthly searches for cssbuy worldwide. Brazil dominates with 90,500, followed by Portugal at 6,600 and then Germany and the US at 3,600 each. France and the UK rank below its top six, so they get no figure here, which does not mean nobody searches. LitBuy drew 22,200 German searches, so CSSBuy's German audience is about a sixth of that. A search for "cssbuy spreadsheet" in the US ran at about 110 a month. Readers starting from a LitBuy spreadsheet in Germany can see the local lines on our Berlin page.

A large Brazilian audience shapes what you read online. Guides about duty at CSSBuy often assume Brazil's rules, while for Germany the relevant ones are 19% import VAT and the EU's €3 duty per tariff category on small parcels. An earlier research note mentions a 2024 US trademark lawsuit involving CSSBuy that we could not verify, so we do not rely on it. Our notes hold no Trustpilot figure for CSSBuy.

CSSBuy is a Brazilian-scale agent with a thin German footprint and no rating in our notes.

One German parcel on the LitBuy side, to compare

CSSBuy's shipping rates stay blank here, because we have none. On the LitBuy side, 1,000 g to Germany on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE came to €24.12 ($27.10) in the estimator on 19 October 2026 (list price; Tax free; stated 10 to 15 working days). From the 25 October 2026 cut-off at 14:00 Beijing time, each parcel carries €2 extra.

Assumed basket: ¥399 of clothes, assumed 0.9 kg packed

Goods at ¥1 ≈ €0.12 (about)€47.88

LitBuy 1 kg band, list price€24.12

EU €2 handling€2.00

All-in on LitBuy, no coupon€74.00

For CSSBuy, add its percentage fee to the €47.88 and swap in its estimator's shipping figure for the same weight. If its total beats €74.00 by more than the pain of an unclear fee, one small trial order is reasonable. See our LitBuy fees page for the LitBuy lines and the agents hub or HooBuy for other second agents. Settle each order as you place it.

Hold CSSBuy to €74.00 on this basket, fee included, before you switch.

Quick answers on CSSBuy for LitBuy spreadsheet users

How much would CSSBuy's fee add to a €48 basket?

On an assumed basket of ¥399, about €47.88, a 6% fee is ¥23.94 or €2.87, and 10% is ¥39.90 or €4.79. Its FAQ also lists VIP tiers of 8, 7 and 6%. We read both pages on 6 October 2026 and cannot say which applies, so confirm the fee line at checkout. LitBuy states no agent fee.

Why does CSSBuy show two different percentages?

We could not find out. Its Cost and Fees page gave 6% and its FAQ gave 10%, with 8, 7 and 6% for VIP levels, when we read them on 6 October 2026. Pages written at different times often disagree. Use the higher figure for planning, and screenshot the checkout total on your first order as evidence.

Does CSSBuy have a link format I can build from a LitBuy link?

Not one we have verified. Our notes record no tested CSSBuy product-link format, so the safe method is the marketplace original. Take the item number from the LitBuy link, rebuild it, for example as item.taobao.com/item.htm?id= followed by the number, and paste that into CSSBuy's search box. Check price and stock on the page that opens.

Is CSSBuy's storage better than LitBuy's?

They start level. CSSBuy advertised 90 free days on 19 October 2026, and our notes record ¥15 per ID per month after that. LitBuy keeps 90 free days, then charges a ¥1 minimum per item daily, up to 120 days. On an assumed ¥159 item held 30 days past day 90, LitBuy would charge ¥30, about €3.60.

Why is CSSBuy searched so much in Brazil?

Semrush's September 2026 export puts about 90,500 of its roughly 128,900 monthly searches in Brazil, with Germany and the US each at 3,600. So most of its audience lives elsewhere. German buyers can use it, but advice written for Brazil, including its customs advice, may not match EU rules, which are 19% VAT in Germany and a €3 duty per category.

Should I use CSSBuy or LitBuy for my first German haul?

Start with the agent whose total you can read. LitBuy's estimator quoted €24.12 for 1 kg to Germany, plus €2 after 25 October 2026. If CSSBuy's estimator, run for the same weight, plus its fee, comes out lower and you accept the unclear fee, try one small order there. Otherwise keep the rows in LitBuy.
